Aeonium Growing Tips
Water: Aeoniums do not like really hot or dry weather. They may go dormant in summer and do not require any water, except in excessively dry conditions. In extreme heat, their leaves will curl, to prevent excessive water loss. Growing them in moist shade will keep them growing in high heat, but their true growth season is winter to spring, when temperatures are cool (65–75 F.) and damp.

Succulents are generally small in size and are considered to be low maintenance plants, they come in varied colors making it soothing for any eyes. Agave americana is known as century plant but it typically only lives between 10 and 30 years. It can grow 1-2 m high and 2-4 m across. Older individuals may sometimes develop a short woody stem at the base of the plant and commonly produces numerous suckers(adventitious roots) which form a large clump or colony. When fully mature, A. americana develops a massive flower cluster on a robust flowering stem 6-12 m tall.

It’s used in traditional Indian medicine for constipation, skin diseases, worm infestation, infections and as a natural remedy for colic. AloeVera Benefits? Aloe vera produces two substances used for medicine: The gel is obtained from the cells in the center of the leaf, and the latex is obtained from the cells just beneath the leaf skin. Most people use aloe gel as a remedy for skin conditions, including burns, sunburn, frostbite, psoriasis and cold sores, but there is a host of other aloe vera(Ghirita Kumari) benefits. Aloe gel is used for treating osteoarthritis, bowel diseases, fever, itching and inflammation. It’s also used as a natural remedy for asthma, stomach ulcers, diabetes and for soothing side effects of radiation treatment. Aloe latex is used to naturally treat depression, constipation, asthma and diabetes.
Haworthia Limifolia | File Leafed Haworthia
Haworthia Limifolia(Fairy Washboard) is a huge genus of small succulent plants endemic to Southern Africa. H.Limifolia are tiny succulent plants, forming rosettes of leaves from 3 cm to exceptionally 30 cm in diameter, depending on the species. These rosettes are generally stemless but in some species stems reach up to 50 cm. These plants can propagate solitary. Many species have firm and fleshy leaves, usually dark green in color, whereas others are softer and contain leaf windows with translucent panels through which sunlight can reach internal photosynthetic tissues. Generally, white flowers of Haworthia Limifolia are small. However, their leaves show variations even within one species. Due to lack of water their colors may change to red and purple. They don’t require much care and can even remain many weeks without water.
