Being a houseplant, Dracaena reflexa can survive easily in average room conditions, eventolerating dry indoor air.
It is suggested that you replant this plant in spring when roots become coiled or grow out of the drainage holes in the container in which it was originally kept.
Always use fresh potting mix while you’re transplanting.
Pleomele plant requires moist soil to grow during the time period between spring and fall.
Hence, water just enough to keep the soil moist.
In winter, reduce watering, as the plant prefers drier soil.
Avoid overwatering as it may make the soil waterlogged, causing root rot.
As it is an indoor plant, use room-temperature water for watering.
Use a good quality all-purpose potting mix to plant.

Pleomele is best fertilized in spring, just before new growth.
You can use any organic fertilizer to fertilize.
Feed the plant every 2 weeks in spring and summer with a diluted liquid fertilizer.
Dracaena reflexa may reach up to the height of 4-5 m, rarely 6m in ideal protected locationsbut it is usually much smaller, around 3ft especially when grown as a houseplant.
The flowers of Pleomele are small, clustered and usually white in colour.
They bloom in midwinters.
It is slow growing and upright in habit. Leaves are 5-20 cm long and 1.5-5 cm broad at the base.
Dry air may attract spider mites to its leaves, hence regular misting with water is suggested, it will raise the humidity and also keep the pests away.
